UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Quick Vet Update

So we went to the vet with Kirzon and Floyd today. First, Floyd hid and so we got a late start. He is learning the really good places to hide. So that made it a bit stressful - and the cats in the car didn't help, because they hate it and were meowing (mostly Kirzon).

So we got to the vet and Floyd had a weigh in, and honestly it was not good news - he is down a pound and a half. So, instead of getting his shot he had to do a blood test. We couldn't do the shot because obviously if he is a different weight it would be off. So he is back on the amoxicillin again and hopefully will put back on the weight (plus a bit more). Keep your fingers crossed.

Kirzon has also lost a little weight but he really needed to and it was a longer time since he was weighed (last year at his check up) so his was normal. That was good.

The little girl kitten was still there but they have two people who are interested which is good. Keep your fingers crossed that she has a good home soon. Otherwise I cannot be held responsible if we end up with six (no, seriously we do not have the room so really send the get adopted vibes hard on that one).

On the way home Floyd barfed in the carrier - he has never done that before, but he does tend to barf if he hasn't eaten, and I don't feed them before the trips. Luckily it was not a lot and I had an old sweater in there so I just tossed that out and it was fine. I think he was getting stressed because he had to pee because that was the first thing he did when he got home - other than that he seemed fine when we got back and ate some crunchy food right away (no barfing). Lola hissed a couple times but got over it right away because she was sitting with Floyd shortly after that.

So we also found out that the electrical box in the bathroom that needs to move is a bigger job than we thought - so that means we are even more broke than we thought. Brad found a good retired electrician who still does work for people (and who likes cats) to help out. We can't finish the bathroom without moving it so it has to be done. So I guess there will be some cat wrangling tomorrow while that gets done.

Anyway I am really tired now so I am going to have to post pictures tomorrow. I will try to visit but may be a bit behind because I am tired (Barney kept me up) so if I don't see you this weekend have a good one!!
