UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

I am super pissed off!!

Ok, so one of our new blog friends took in a foster - and after a big broohaha the "rescue group" she did this with is just being stupid and trying to take her back, even though they (the group) can't afford to give her the healthcare she needs (she is heartworm positive) and our blog friend said they would adopt her so they could get her what she needs. Please go check this out and if you have any ideas how to help them please let them know - I am so pissed but I don't really have any idea how to help.

That is not right! Why not keep the kitty where it is happy and well cared for and in a real home?

Amy, thanks so much for stopping by our blog and commenting on Jack's diabetes diagnosis. The blog you linked us to is great. Lots of great advice. Take care.

That really stinks, the only solution I know of is to get smarter humans, but that takes to long and often isn't successful!

Amy, that is just terrible. Is there any way we can find out what this rescue is. I might put something on Facebook about this and direct them to the blog of 'Baby'. Do you think that would be all right?? We need to do a big campaign against that rescue place. Let me know what you think.

That is very sad when the animals best interest is not being taken into account and people get on a power trip (haven't went the page yet, just saying).

What we don't understand is what this rescue group is hoping to get out of behaving like that. It doesn't make any sense to us.

What a mess!! Poor Bruschi's mum!!! I cannot believe that such a "rescue" centre is allowed to operate? Who is regulating these rescue centres - is there a government dept that does so or at least a county one? There must be a watchdog or something like that who may investigate this obviously bogus rescue centres?

But above all poor Baby and Bruschi's mum are in the middle of this mess!! They can't face this alone, there must be some support somewhere for them. Oh dear! :-(

I shall light candles for Baby and Bruschi's mum in my heart. I hope they both come out of this mess ok.

Thanks for the info.

Take care

We feel so sorry for Baby.
In all of this she is the one who will be the one who loses.
Such a sad story.

That's terrible. Rescues should have the animals interest at heart. Poor Baby :(

Thanks for stopping by to visit us and for the nice compliments. Purrs-

Awful! We went over and gave the foster of Baby some purrs. As a foster, this is very scary to read. I pray the "rescue" does right by her and Baby.

Horrible. How sad that people who are supposed to have the animals' best interests in mind lose track of that.

I'm glad you are linking to this person's blog so more people can become aware. It would just be nice if this baby could be where it will be properly taken care of.

That's terrible, what this so-called "rescue" is doing. Clearly they do not have Baby's interests at heart. I wish I had some suggestions, but cats and dogs are still considered "property" and issues like this are decided on false ownership entitlements. It really hisses me off.

Left a note of compassion and encouragement but the situation really stink. The best interests of Baby seems to have gotten lost somewhere.

How crazy! A real loving home is ALWAYS the best solution. We will PURR for the kitty to get well and stay wiv the noo mom.

I can't believe this is legal! There must be a way to stop this.

That is just so wrong! We hope that they change their minds and let baby stay!

Baby is so lucky to have the REAL rescuer taking care of her. I am praying the treatment helps her recover. I don't know anything about heart worms, not having a dog. But somewhere I think I read that a cat could sometimes get it, though it is not common. My prayers for Baby recovering fully are going up strong!

To anyone reading this - please visit my blog about a colony of abandoned/feral cats near my home. And you might decide to sign on as a follower to my blog since it has stories and information helpful for cat caretakers everywhere.
Thank you,
