Quick bit of good news
So I just wanted to post a little good news - I picked up a couple jars of baby food - one chicken and one ham. I gave Floyd some and he ate about 1/4 of a jars worth. Then Barney was playing with the Temptations bag (he stole them off the table apparently) and when I picked it up Floyd was interested and came over - so I gave him some and he ate probably about 10 so that is good. I plan to keep offering treats every once in a while because that way he is getting some food at least. But it is better than yesterday so that is good. He is still not acting like himself, but he is a bit perkier than before - at least with the treats.

Ohh, ham! Ham makes everything better! We are happy that Floyd is eating a little more and we'll keep purring that he keeps it up!

That's good news! It's good that Floyd is getting something in his tummy which will hopefully make him better soon!
Oh good! We are glad to hear he ate some baby food and treats! Hopefully, his appetite will pick back up very soon.
Well done Floyd. When our old girl Puss was in the last stages of CRF, she liked caramel yoghurt which the vet said was fine as eating anything was good, and lots of calories were helpful too.

Alfie has offered to eat any of Floyd's leftovers! So praps that might encourage him to eated them all up quickly ~ before Alfie gits them!!
Come on Floyd, keep eating! But hold out for ham or roast chicken if you can :)

That's great news about Floyd! The baby meat is a great idea. Our vet suggested that once when one of our kitties couldn't digest anything else. It's very gentle on the stomach. It's probably what he needed to start feeling halfway normal again.
Keep up the baby food until he's able to eat his regular stuff.

Good news! Treats are food too. :)
Kelly loved "baby chicken" (Beech-Nut baby food) and would eat it when he wouldn't eat anything else. We're glad Floyd is eating too.
