UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Quick Barney Update

Well, Barney's eyes look better today. We have been using three different medicines and none seem to react well - but last night was very weird because usually his right eye just get really red, but yesterday his left eye is what had the bad reaction. It had been mucky beforehand (which it really hasn't before) and just got way worse for a while, but by bed time is seemed better. All the meds have been ointments (which he tolerates) and there were at least a couple that are antibiotic so I am not sure if he is just sensitve or what. Lola had eye issues for a while but doesn't have them much anymore. I noticed my eyes are a little weird too, but that could just be psychological because it didn't start til his got bad. I will be giving the vet a call today to set up an appointment - luckily I am off this Thursday afternoon so I can get him in then. He is playing and roughhousing like normal, he is just squinty in one eye and pink in the other. The squinty eye has the dark "eyeliner" so it is hard to tell if it is pink. Anyway I will keep you updated - thanks for all the good thoughts!

ETA: Barney's appointment is Saturday morning (unless Brad is off on Friday and can watch the floor guys for a while, in which case I will change it). They are going to order him a special medicine. And boy are my eyes bugging me right now! Maybe it is the weather and not just because I am crazy!

Oh no, Barney! Poor little baby! :( I hope he feels better. I think cats like people can be sensitive to certain meds. I will keep him in my thoughts. I hope the VET can figure out something that will work.
Sorry about your computer Amy. That is so frustrating! I know there are a lot of good back to school sales and rebates going on now.
I saw your bracelets! They are lovely! Yay you! :)
I will keep you and all your kitty babies in my thoughts and purrayers.
Hugs,
Lorianna

I hope Barney gets better before the vet's appointment so you don't have to continue to worry. And I sure hope your eye issues are just psychological. You must be very empathetic.

Hey Amy,
Are you having work done in your home? If so, I bet you are all reacting to the dust etc. Especially now that yours are acting up. We had hardwoods refinished several years ago. We too Madi to my parents and we stayed in a hotel for 5 nights. The dust and polyurethane was horrible. Madi and I hope you are all better soon.
