Barney!
So Barney is having some eye issues. He has actually had them since we got him but they seem really bad today. He has been on 3 different meds so far and they just do not seem to work. I put some in today and they seemed to get a lot worse, and I swear one side of his face seems a bit swollen. Brad sees it too so I know I am not crazy. I decided to stop the medicine and call the vet in the morning. Lola's have been watery but not bad (they are ok today) so I wonder if he has the same allergies that she does but a bit worse, or if it is because he likes to play in the litter. Either way I think he needs a vet visit. It will probably be on Thursday because I have the afternoon off. I will let you know the results. For now, here are some pics I took at the same time I got that one of him playing with Floyd's tail. You can see him trying to get it and play with it. Hopefully they post because the computer is still weird lately.,

Bless heart, Barney! Having eye issues are no fun at all. We sure hope the vet is able to prescribe the best medicine to take care of the problem!

We are sending Barney many purrs. Tasha had many eye problems when we got her as a very small kitten - she had to have antibiotic ointment and drops for what seemed like forever, but she seemed to grow out of them. We're wishing the same for Barney - he is such a cute guy.

You may have tried this already but we find that ointment works a lot better than drops in dealing with eye issues.
We hope that Barney can be helped by the vet! He is so very cute.

Oh No! Barney, we hope you eye issues get better real soon. Skeeter is having runny eyes lately (mom thinks it is allergies) But it's no fun regardless...Get better soon Buddy!

Yes, I can see that one eye is almost closed -- but being a kitten, Barney's not letting that get in the way of playing -- some things, like tails, are just too irresistible!
I hope you can find out the cause and get it taken care of right quick!
