Hi Everybody! This is Gus - mom is letting me and Stella post thank yous to you for coming to the party for our birthday - it is still going on downstairs if you got here late. Anyway, thank you for coming to the party for our first birthday - we had so much fun with all of you. I was especially excited to see my favorite almost-ladycat (still girlcat) Ozabella stop by (we came by your place before mom saw you had been by - she is such a dork). Mom said that this is a busy weekend for us because my littlest sister Trixe gets her ladygardenectomy next Friday - we need to get all the floors super clean so there are no food bits there - sometimes we hid some under cabinets and stuff. I am doing a great job of keeping an eye on her and mom said that now that I am a full mancat that I will have even more responsibilities (and I am the biggest mancat in the house so that makes sense). Trixie is having a bit of an issue with her lip but mom talked to the vet about it and it is looking a lot better. But Lola is having tummy troubles so I have been sitting with her. Mom is taking her to the vet tomorrow and will let you know what is up after that. I sometimes go upstairs and sit with her so she isn't lonely (mom opens the door for her to come down but if she isn't feeling good she sometimes stays upstairs even with the door open). Mom said that is because I am a sweetheart and a gentleman (the most gentlemanly of all the cats too). What, oh, I guess it is Stella's turn now. So one more thank you to all of my friends - I love you all for coming to make mine and Stella's day so special!
Hi Everyone! It is my turn now - me, Stella the full ladycat! First I want to send lots of thank you for coming to our party hugs to all our friends! Mom has been really sad lately because of her job and not being able to visit and seeing all of you come by for our party made her so happy. She hopes that work is going to calm down in the next few days and she will be back to her old schedule (she has her review next week though so she is a bit worried). I have been purring on her a lot but having our friends come by made her super happy - she was afraid you might have forgotten us. I told her she was just silly and I was right! So anyway, thanks for coming to the party - I especially loved getting to play THoE with so many of you - and for our doggie friends who I played with, well, thank you for being so sweet and letting me catch you a couple times - I know you were easy on me because it was my birthday but it was so fun. And I am glad our kitty friends and people friends were there too! Oh, mom said to tell you that Kirzon, Barney and Virgil are doing well (but mom thinks Virgil is too skinny - but in our house that could just be because the rest of us are a bit pudgy). And she said to let you know that I am a very good big sister for Trixie, and that I don't smackypaw her much or anything. And oh yeah, mom said that it is ok for me to find a boyfriend cat now - I do find one mancat very handsome, but I haven't really seen any interest from him, so if anyone out there is interested in a feisty tomboy one year old ladycat with a bunch of big brothers, let me know (doggies are also welcome to apply because I know you are all sweethearts too). What mom? Oh, ok, mom wants to add a quick something. So thank you all for making our day so super special!
Hi Everyone - this is Mom Amy. I just wanted to thank everyone who came by yesterday (and any late comers too) because it really did make my day so much happier to have so many visitors. We haven't been visiting at all lately because of the crazy at work, and hopefully that is ending as the new year begins. I have my review next week meaning not much at the begining of the week, but my guess is we will be getting to see everyone at least one time next week. I have a bunch of stuff to post about - our wonderful gift exchange, Lola's health (she has had pudding poops for the past couple weeks - had them over one weekend and left lots of little puddles all over the room, then got better and has it again, but this time fewer but bigger puddles) so there is a vet visit for her coming up. And Trixie gets her spay surgery on 4/8, meaning no food on 4/7 after 9, so there will be a lot of cleaning - the cats are notorious for hiding/playing with/making a mess with kibble, so we will be doing a lot of cleaning for that and also I am going to steam clean the carpet in Lola's room, so that is why we won't get to visit til after this weekend. So keep your fingers and paws crossed for Lola to have nothing major going on, and we will see you all next week (I hope).
Oh, and I forgot to add -I know Rene had asked - Mackie, Gus and Stella's mom, was kept by Megan (I think - I think Sara has Io and Luna and Megan has Mackie) who is one of the girls who took her in. And I loose track a bit because of moves and stuff but I think that they all live together still (Megan and Sara are sisters). So Mackie has a good home too, along with all her babies.
And that is really the end this time - see you next week!!
