Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Random Thursday - the Photo Edition

Edit: Ok, so not only did I redo the header I also redid the background. My first attempt - I think it turned out pretty cool.  Also, I wanted to let you know that Oscar is doing better - he still needs the purrs and woofs, but they are helping him to feel better. Oh, and right now Stella and Trixie are playing together. Like for sure it is playing.

So today is Thursday and it seemed like a good time for a Random Thursday post.

This morning when I got up I noticed the cats had left something in the crunchies bowl

The cats get Fancy Feast for breakfast and dinner, but they get other types of wet food as snacks sometimes. I think they were leaving me a hint (by the way this is the kitten crunchies that are up in the bedroom, that is why the nasty carpet is there. We replaced the downstairs but still need to do the upstairs).

I was watching The Simpsons today and the dog, Santa's Little Helper, was barking .Trixie got mad and started growling at him. She is fine now.

Barney is in a better mood today. He and Trixie smelled each other today and he didn't hiss, and I haven't seen him hiss at anyone else either (but she is the only one I have seen up close to him).

I saw Stella and Trixie touch noses - also no hissing - yay!

There was also a bit of Trixie/Virgil interaction - no hissing.  There does appear to be some Barney/Virgil wrestling happening now.

Trixie just tried to eat my hair. She is sitting next to me while I type this

Lunch today was a tv dinner - I was worried because the last time I had the one I had today (which was 2 days ago) I swear it was poisoned. I have to call the company about it because I sent an email and they asked me to call about it.

Dinner tonight is grilled cheese and cheese fries. And a Whiskey Stone Sour. Work is really stressing me out a lot lately. I swear I hate it more each day, I just haven't been able to find a new job yet.

Trixie moved to the sofa arm - I had to get up and spray the boys to break it up. The thing is that Virgil will scream like a lunatic and you think Barney is being super mean, but he really is just a drama queen and half the time he is the one being the aggressor. And they aren't even mad, they are just playing. But Virgil still yowels his head off.

My house is a complete mess and needs to be cleaned so badly. And I hate it and am never in the mood because after work I am so tired.

Ok, so I said this woudl be the photo edition, so I have more photos - but there were a LOT and it would have been long, so I decided to make a smilebox slide show - my first one. It is a simple one, no music, because the real stars are the cats  - mostly Trixie - she is finally getting used to the camera a bit and squinting a little less, but not much - she is pretty squinty for the most part. I need to make a new header with her in it. I started last night but hated it and need to make a different one. I like the style I have which is a collage, but that template only allows 6 pictures. So I will have to work on it.

I didn't get in much visiting today because work was sucky and I had a bad headache. So I will work on getting around better tomorrow. Tonight I am going to work on the new header. So now, here are the beautiful pictures of the kitties! Enjoy!!

The first slideshow attempt was certainly a success! We loved the photos and the animation.

We are sending positive energy and hope that something less stressful comes you way workwise. Life is too short to be so stressed and unhappy.

Thanks for your prayers and good thoughts for Gregg, Dragon's dad. They worked! He got to leave the hospital this afternoon and must be at home resting for 4-6 weeks...the pups are overjoyed...as are all of us!

Sorry about the continued job stress! I worked for one of the big banks that went under a couple years ago and the environment sounds a lot like how your job is. Horrible!!

It sounds like the kitties are doing well though, so that's good!

I am gonna have to try out smilebox...that was COOL! Trixie's big multicolored toes are so cute. Just how many toes does she have?

Fingers crossed on your job hunt. The stress of working in a bad situation is unhealthy. At least you have the kitties to unwind with!

The Whiskas in the bowl is a clear hint, isn't it?
The Smilebox show seems like a great way to do a slide show.

Great header and lovely new blog design!!! Yay!! Awwww the slideshow is fab!!! I love little Trixie's tiny spot under her chin - that's so cute!!! Awwww - nice to see Barney and Stella too!

Awwww Virgil sounds so funny!!! LOL! Is he smaller than Barney? Guess maybe that's why he's got the loudest yowl of the two! LOL!

Me and Charlie are sending more healing purrs and hugs to Oscar! Take care

Yeah, look at all the cute kitty photos! Trixie's front paws are just amazing. Does she have two extra toes? And I swear, Stella must be the scrunchy-est cat I have ever seen.

Hi!!! Hi!!! Hi!!! (we had to say it three times because there are three of us!!) Thanks SO much for visiting us the other day!! Our *ahem* caretaker (she's been downgraded from Mom) feels your pain about being unhappy at your job - it's been keeping her so busy, she's been working 7 days a week!!! This is severely cutting into our kitty time - which is unacceptable!!

We hope things get better for you!
