UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Random Tuesday!

Yay! Random Tuesday is back! I have to say I am much happier at work being able to take little breaks now. But it still sucks - I hate that we have to eat in the lunchroom (so I take very short lunches) and the entire place is just a horrible color. Imagine what it would be like to work inside a manilla folder and you have what my office is like.
Oh, if you haven't entered already, be sure to hit our CONTEST POST!!

So lunch today was Cheese Ravioli - boring but good and quick.

So you can probably tell we are in Valentines Day mode - I have my cute heart background going. Not sure what I will do after that though.

Lincoln Day is 2/12 and I will be wearing my favorite Lincoln Day shirt again this year - Lincoln fighting Bigfoot. If you saw the pilot episode of Raising Hope you got to see the shirt in action - the entire reason I watched the show (which it turns out was pretty funny) was because the guy was wearing that shirt in the commercials.

Lately every Dr. Pepper I have is flat (or almost flat) when I open it. I hate that. I also need to cut back on the Dr. Pepper, so maybe they are trying to encourage me.

I am doing good about getting visits in now - I am going alphabetically, and make a goal letter each day - today was I - M, and I am already done with M, so anything after that is just bonus catching up. I should be done by the end of the week, and then I start all over again. I am hoping to get faster but right now it looks like I will be visiting about 1 time a week to everyone I follow. I did A-H yesterday (ha - those are my initials - AH).

I haven't been making jewelry lately and I hate it - I want to make so many things and just don't get around to it. I need new rings for some of the stuff I want to make, and I have tons of beads to use for other stuff and just don't know what to do with them. I like my stuff but then I see some of the others who make stuff out there and it is so beautiful and creative it kind of makes me question what I can do to keep up. I want to start and etsy store but what if no one bought anything? I am the queen of crazy in this respect, and others too.

As someone so aptly noticed (I can't remember - I think it was Milo and Alfie) I still have my Christmas stuff up -I just have been too tired to take it down. The outside stuff is down, but the stuff in the windows is mostly still up - I did take a few things down because I decided to paint them to make them stand out more during the day (it is glass paint from the back, so the lights will still show fine at night). The tree is still needing to go to its new home - it breaks more every day but I am sure if it goes to a cat-free home it can be repaired and be beautiful again. I kind of want to fix it myself but I know the cats would just climb it again.

As I have said before we watched teh Puppy Bowl - I would love to have any of the puppies from the game. They were all adorable and I couldn't pick an MVP to vote on this year.  I feel to guilty because I like them all.

Cats - all crazy, all wonderful. Virgil decided at llike 9:50 last night to sit in my lap - now I go up and start getting ready for bed at 10 most nights (in bed by 11) but there was no way I was moving because he isn't the most snuggly - he is more with Brad but he is a bit of a "sit nearby" kind of cat. Gus and Stella aren't lapcats much either but they also sit nearby - usually a lot closer than Virgil.

Oh, I woke up in the night last night and Kirzon and Stella were snuggling - like touching snuggling. Awesome.

Stella is going to need to start attending PCA - Pipe Cleaners Annonymous - because she is kind of addicted to them. And sadly I am an enabler. The others like them but she even has slept with them.

Barney is the opposite of Virgil, and so are Kirzon and Lola. They will snuggle to the point you have to explain to them that you need to get up when they get back on your lap when you move them. For the 50th time.

Gus is just Gus. I think he is bigger than Barney now. At least he is heavier - he is so muscle-y. I think that is why the tree is getting so broken.

Oh, I have pictures to post that Brad took of his mom's dogs Oscar and Sonny - I have to remember to do that. Probably tomorrow.

Ok, this has gotten long, so let me just close by saying be sure to enter our contest - I have been very impressed with the entries so far because there are a lot that are right. I can't wait to see who wins!

Sounds like you have been busy. Sorry your Dr. Pepper hasn't been very good.... Ozabella says to tell Gustin "Hey" and then she smiled!

I have gotten flat 'cokes' before. I broke my pepsi habit. Down South we call all of them 'cokes'.
Kassey isn't a lap kitty, wish she was.

Sorry your Dr. Pepper has been flat, that doesn't even sound good.

Oh your office decor sounds so hideous!! Poor you! Oh dear!!

Great to hear about the cats being super snuggly!!! I love that image of Kirzon and Stella! Awww!! Gus is one big guy!!! And he's still a kitty baby really! Awww!

I love your t-shirt!! LOL!!! And I've not had any Dr Pepper in years!! I've sort of weaned myself off coke but got tempted last week. I bought one off the drinks machine only to get a tin that was luke warm! Well that put me right off!! LOL!!

I hope you get to do your jewellry!! That's such a skill and so creative!! I think you just go with your own creative instincts!! Good luck!!!

Have a great Tuesday, Amy! Take care

Flat Dr. Pepper can't be good! Lately I've been drinking the diet cherry Dr. P, and it's tasty. Hope you are having an awesome day.

Glad all is falling into place at work

Lots going on! Glad work is better! Cats on laps stops a lot of things here too since our beans sit until we decide to get up. You should go for it with the Etsy shop. People can't buy if it's not there! Our mommy still gets excited over every sale since she worries no one will buy anymore either. She's a worry wart.

Pawsome randomness! We still need to check out your contest.

We hope there continue to be more bright spots with the work situation.

Our mom wanted to say again how much she liked the bracelet you made - she likes that style.

Say...pretty soon you can have Christmas in July ;-/

We're so glad that you get little breaks in now, but boo on the manila folder color! We don't have soda here, but mama is known to have a Dr Pepper once in a while!

Once Pookie sits on my lap, she gets angry when I have to get up and she hisses !

We always love your catch up posts! We love hearing little details about our friends and what they get up to. Especially when it's snuggling!

You have to eat in the lunchroom? That stinks.

I laughed out loud about your PCA. I need to get some pipe cleaners and try them out on the gang here.

We've already entered your contest too. Don't forget to enter ours!

Glad things are going well.
Don't feel about the Christmas stuff. I still have some things out and my one 12" tree is still in my office window and I turn it on because I like to look at it when I am online and visiting blogs.
