So just when I had all my visiting woes fixed by bringing my laptop in, our network at work goes all wonky. I was entering a small parts order and I got kicked out at least a dozen times. And every time you have to go unlock the order - and about half those times I got kicked out right after. This is not surprising - our network hates Thursdays (you would think Friday's would be the problem because more people are in the building but no, Thursdays are usually bad network days). It took me a good 45 minutes to get the order in. Now, I could have given up and just done it in the morning - the parts center and corporate are gone by now - but no, then the network would have won.
So we got all the Christmas stuff from the storage locker last night - it literally filled the entire truck bed, plus the inside. The cats are totally fascinated by everything. I put up a couple things but it was late and we had to eat dinner still, plus I decided to work on the blog a bit - I am glad you like the new background. I wanted something different so I did a google image search for "retro Christmas" - that is the vibe I went with for the cards so I wanted to background to feel the same way. I love the one I picked.
Anyway, the cats and the Christmas stuff - they are having a ton of fun playing on all the boxes, and I know I need to get the tree up asap even if it isn't decorated because they are going to destroy it if I don't. Tonight is another busy night - we are going to one of my favorite stores this time of year - American Sales - they are like a Christmas wonderland. So that means not too much catching up - and with the slow network I am behind again. It is so annoying.
The good news is that once the Christmas stuff is up I will be able to get lots of cute pictures - I got a bunch last year that I really love of the cats in front of the tree, and in the tree, and around the tree. And chewing the tree. In fact, here are a few to refresh your memory!
I didn't really see any Kirzon by the tree pics in there - he usually sits in the back so it is hard to get a good shot. That is the tree we have now - with the unbreakable ornaments. Before Virgil moved in we had 2 trees - one all glass ornaments, one of the "Sentimental" ones. I will see if I can find the pics I have of those some time.
And boy, I love the 2 with Lola - first with her lovin' on the tree, then with her telling Virgil, in no uncertain terms - "my tree!!!"
Ok, well, that is all for today - I hope to get to visit you all asap!!
