We didn't have a chance to do a Friday Friends post this week - but it will be back next week for sure!
And if you haven't noticed, we have gone pink for breast cancer awareness month. We will be yellow, however, for Livestrong Day (well, probably late tonight). We have our Livestrong post all set, and then Sunday will be a special post for my dad - it is a repeat of last years for his birthday. This is a tough month for us here at HoC, because on 10/30 it will be a year since Floyd went to the bridge. I already have the post scheduled for that day - it is a repost also, of the tribute I did for him last year. And of course on 10/31 - one of my favorite holidays - Halloween - we will be all decked out for that (so we probably won't be pink). I know that I won't be getting a lot of visiting in the next few days - we are going to the storage area to get the Halloween stuff, and I need to go through it all (there is a lot, and I need to figure out what else we need). I am thinking I will start decorating too, and of course there is always cleaning (and laundry - I am pretty much out of clothes at this point).
Oh, and speaking of Halloween, Hansel and his mom are running the Halloween contest this year and could use some more sponsors - so think about joining in. We are sponsoring a new catagory this year that I think everyone will love, but we could use more sponsors!! There is a link in the sidebar to the Halloween blog - be sure to check it out!!

The pink for Breast cancer Awareness is awesome and we will be sure to do a pink post to support you, some time next week. Mom had surgery on her arm yesterday and it's in a sling so typing is hard so we hafta let her rest up. Hence our pink post will be later next week.
