Hi Everyone! Well, we are back from the vets - boy, the drive was stressful! It took forever and Stella was yelling the whole time (there and back). Stella was good once we got there, well, mostly - she kind of ran around in the room. So she got weighed (7.25 lbs I think - I kinda forgot, but it was 7+ for sure). The vet checked her eye and it isn't infected, but it is irritated, so I have some eye goo that she will get twice a day. Right now we are home and she is chasing her brother - so that means she is feeling better, which is good.
I didn't get the chance to do as much blog visiting as I hoped - I had to do actual work at work - can you believe that! Hopefully I can do some more tomorrow - right now, however, I have to try to catch Stella so I can give her her eye goo!

Glad you had a good check up with your eye, Stella. We mol'ed about you hollerin during the ride - we do that too and we have a 50-60 mile drive to our vet! Mom says we are singing "99 bottles of beer on the wall" a la the Mutts comic strip! Purrs your eye will be better soon-

I have a weepy eye, which the doc says is caused by a virus that I got from my cold when I was in the pound. It doesn't bother me much, but my parents wipe it occasionally. I hope it's nothing serious!

Paws crossed that the eye goop works quickly and that she doesn't hate it too much! So glad she's playing with her brother! I bet she's telling him all about her adventure.

We sure hope the meds work, but we don't envy you trying to put those drops in. Maybe she scratched her eye somehow.

Whew! I'm SO very much relieved to hear this! I hopes Stella gets feeling all back to normal soon. And I'm glad that my mom made you feel less skeered about everything!

Been watching and waiting to hear about Stella. SO glad that this is an eye irritation and some ointment will help. And SO glad that she seems to be back to more of herself. I mean, who passes up blanket monster, right?

Nina an I shared eye inferctions a few monfs after Nina camed. Da eye goop is teh yucky, but is much better than hafin an itchy, icky eye!
Stella, Nina says da bestest way to escape frum da eye goop is to back, back, back unner yur mom an escape atween her feets. Unless she learns to cross them afore crouchin ofur you, like Mom an Nina.

OMC! We hates gettin pinned down fur medicins! Lucky for us, we no haz to get any hardly effur.
But poor Patchy-cat gets medicins 3x/day. Now dat mom iz tryin' a noo kind of medicin, iz 3x instead of 2x. An it helps her not haff seezures...but she iz also more awake-like, and fights abowt it more.
We don't fink we would like medicins in our eyes, so we hope Stella gets all better real soonest.
