Baby is back with the rescue. I am so sad for her foster mom, and don't know what else to say other than this sucks. If I could find her, adopt her from the rescue and have her go back to her foster mom I would. You can read about it at their blog - it is heartbreaking.

Appalling situation! :-( I've just read Baby's foster mum's blog piece and am just horrified about the whole thing. How awful for Bruschi's mum!
If that's the rescue centre then yes that's just dodgy! :-( And it makes it more distressing that these people do actually have animals in their care!

That rescue is just horrible, horrible, horrible. The interesting thing is they're asking for $1000 for ALL of those dogs. And Bruschi's mom had vet estimates to show it would cost $800 for Baby alone. Obviously they are planning to self-administer "medications" just like Bruschi's mom said. That makes me SO scared for Baby and the other dogs.
I truly think most rescues are legit. But if nothing else comes from this, maybe some people's eyes will be open to be cautious about vetting the rescues that they work with and adopt from.
It's just so tragic and I feel so awful that there's nothing I can do about it.

The mom left a comment on Pittie the fool - she suggested they contact Rescue Ink with the story and see if they can do anything. Saw the pictures on a few different facebook pages - funny its the same picture as if THE RESCUE GROUP doesnt have any new ones...
