Hi Everyone - so as I am going through today I decided to do a post on our friends who need purrs and grrs right now. So I will be updating this as I go. I know it is sad to read about our sick friends, so we totally understand if you don't actually stop by but if you could still send out the purrs and grrs that would be great! Like I said yesterday, I totally believe they help - even if it is just the knowing that we care about them. So the list will be updated as I discover more friends who are sick.
First, there is Herman from Herman's Hideaway. He has Feline Lukemia and the virus is active again, so we are hoping that it will go back to being inactive.
Next we have our new friend Arthur from New Cat City. He is on a feeding tube right now for Fatty Liver Disease - his latest post mentions he is getting friskier, which is great.
A new friend we just met, Maggie May could use some for two reasons - one, she has a abscess that had to be drained (no fun) but two, it sounds like the cause was a fight and tension at their house. I know a lot of other kitties are going through that and can relate (and as I come across you I will add all of you too - I am going oldest to newest in my reader).
Maxdog is still needing lots of purrs and grrs - we know a lot of you already visit Max, but if you don't you should - his blog is very inspirational.

We sure hope sweet Herman kicks it in the butt...we know he can if we all purr with him!
No please tell me that this isn't true!! I will try and teleport there and leave my prayers and wishes for him. This is terrible.

Thank you for this special post. Knowing that there are these and even more furriends and families who can use the extra support right now (some of them going through the days personally and privately .... by choice) we want to join in with the purrs and grrrs. It is wonderful to know that there is an understanding, loving and supportive community out there. You are very special to make today a day of sharing.
With love

Purrs and headbutts to all the kitties you listed. It's so stressful when our kitties aren't well.
Hi Amy. It is so heartbreaking to read about sweet innocent furbabies getting sick isn't it? Just when I think I can't take anymore, I read about another one. I just visited Herman and his Mommy. I was so happy for them when Karen Jo adopted him. I hope they can have many more years together. It would be so unfair...
I loved all of your new pictures. What a sweet kitty family you have! They really are good medicine, aren't they?
I hope your week is getting better.
hugs (and purrs from my kitties),
Lorianna
I can't purr because I'm a dog, but I'm sending lots of kind woofs and grrs to them all.

Quinn is feeling much calmer today and we have put the harness in a drawer for now (just using his collar which he seems ok with). Thanks for the advice about mom's hand...she, too, figures an infection is inevitable and is watching carefully (and Dad is too)! Unfortunately, mom is on blood thinners so the bruising and bleeding were much greater than they would normally be...very dramatic but really she is not too worked up.
You're right that it means a lot to get support from others when things are tough. Thanks for keeping the list.
There are a lot of Babies that need our prayer. I will visit their sites.
Glad all is well with you and your kitties.
We will do purrs and Grrs for those who are in need!
We are sending BIG rumbly healing purrs to them all.
I hope all goes well. That is not good news....our thoughts and prayers are with them. Thanks for sharing.
