So Kirzon is home but he is very loopy. He wants to walk around but because he was under anesthesia he falls down a lot. I try to stop him but he keeps going. I have set up a blockade so he has to stay near me, and so I can get up and he can't try to escape upstairs, but he even got out of that at one point. The second time he tried he didn't get out and fell back (not really a fall fall, but more of a stumble) into his water bowl. He is very antsy for someone as loopy as he is right now. But for the most part I am able to keep him here resting - even if he hates it. He has used the litter box which is good but he hasn't really had any water. He has to wait until tomorrow to get back to eating again, and he has to start with soft foods. But the good news was that they didn't have to extract any teeth - last time he had to have one pulled. His gums were still irritated, but better because of the antibiotics he had been on before the cleaning. He should start to get even better now that he had his cleaning.
I had planned to post about Barney's adventures at Gracie's party today but unfortunately because of Kirzon I am trying to just be on for a quick minute right now - I will post tomorrow. It is a great party and will probably last all weekend - Barney does have permission to stay there because there will be supervision all weekend.
We are also going to let Virgil post about his date with Danielle - that will be on Monday. He is very excited to tell the story, because he had such a wonderful time!
Anyway, I am going back to wrangling Kirzon for now. Right now he is in my lap and not trying to escape, which is helpful. But I know he will try it pretty soon.

I hope Kirzon is feeling a little better and letting all at your place spoil him. Tell him not to worry about missing the party because it will be going on all the weekend. Barney, if you don't mind, is invited to stay the weekend with many of my other friends as the party is going strong and there is no good time to leave.
The gang just loves Barney and they can tell that he is special and that we have something special between us. I guess as the humans like to say the cat is out of the bag.
Spread the word that the party is still on!
WE are glad Kirzon is home even if he is loopy.
I sent word to Shadows Mom that you were missing her. She has bee under the weather a lot in the past 2 months. Nothing major and she is doing better now!
Take khare of your loopy boy!
Mom says my sisfur Banshey was that way after her anesthesia - she was anxious yet slightly out of it -
I did have lots of fun chasing Barney at Gracie's pawty!

Glad Kirzon made it through the teeth cleaning okay. Hopefully he won't fall into his water anymore!
Glad you're okay Kirzon!
I am glad that Kirzon didn't lose any teeth this time. I hope that he stops being loopy soon.
We're glad Kirzon's teef appointment went OK and he is back home. Smoochies for him.
Kirzon I hope you feel better soon! Feeling loopy is No Good.
Does Kirzon usually react like that after an anaesthetic?
Lola is very much the same, all wobbly bobbly. But it doesn't seem to effect Thomas or Charlie in the same way.
We hope that sweet Kirzon gets all back to normal really soon!
Sorry little Kirzon is so loopy. And YAY for no teeths to be taken! We had a blast at Gracie's too!
They just have to try to walk, it makes me so nervous to watch. I'm glad things went well.

We are sending you our purrs, Kirzon. xxxxxxx
Glad to hear no teeth had to be extracted. I hope Kirzon is back to normal soon.
Glad to know that Kirzon is getting better now.
Thanks for the birthday wishes and song for Dante's birthday!
Have fun at Gracie's ongoing party!
I know she and Barney have something special going on.
We are glad Kirzon doesn't have any problems!
I got furry loopy when I had my "surgery". I was stumbling all over the kitchen floor. :)
We're so glad that Kirzon is doing well after his vet visit and really glad his teefs and mouth was so much better!
Ooh, poor Kirzon... anesthesia is one of those indignities a cat has to endure at the v*t's.
