I guess I must talk a lot! Well, I have some cat stories and some cat news today. First the news - Kirzon has a vet appointment on Saturday. He is going in for a pre-teeth cleaning checkup. He will probably be on antibiotics for about a week before the surgery because he gets terrible tarter build up. Not as bad as our poor kitty friend Fiona (go to her auction and bid - see the link in the side bar - click it!) but it still gets bad after a while - and boy does his breath start to stink. But it also can hurt so he will start to loose weight. I knew he would need to go pretty soon after the first, and I think he is at that point again so it is good that it is soon.
So now the stories. First, there is Virgil. Virgil isn't a fan of people food for the most part, but boy oh boy does he love whipped cream. He is so in love with it, in fact, that yesterday I had some and he was upstairs asleep - but as soon as he heard that can he zoomed down like a rocket. You could totally tell he was still half asleep too. It is the one people food he just adores.
The other story is about Barney. So this morning my alarm clock goes off, and he isn't there like normal, so I assume he is either in the bathroom or downstairs. But then I start to hear a muffled meow. I recognize it as Barney and I immediately know what is going on - he locked himself in my office. He and Virgil did the same this over the weekend. I don't know how long he was in there this morning though - he could have been in there basically any time after I fell asleep. He was fine, I think that he heard the alarm and woke up. But since he is usually first in the bathroom I think he was mad he couldn't get out. I found out they were in there over the weekend, because it sounded like they were jumping up and trying to open the door but just banging it instead. This time I am sure he just went to sleep til I got up. I have to admit I did sleep pretty well last night.
I have a few pics I will post when I get home - just some random cat pictures from the past day or so. Other than that, not too much is happening with us, which is good.
