UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

I knew it was too good to be true

So when the vet said that Floyd was doing well I was so excited - he didn't have go in for a blood test for 12 weeks! So of course, it is now 2 weeks after his last visit and we are going back on Saturday because I noticed he is feeling very boney again. And lately he has not been eating like he should - he has been refusing to eat the treats with his pill, so I have to kind of shove it in his mouth and make sure he swallows it, so I just thought (for the first few days - this started monday night) that he was not eating because at that point he was mad about the pill. But then yesterday when I was trying to wrestle with him to get it in his mouth I noticed he is feeling really skinny. Now, when I lift him he still feels heavy, it is just that I can feel his backbone really well again. And then last night when I tried to give him treats without a pill (not even the same type) he didn't eat them (which thrilled the rest of the cats). I was going to try to weigh him but neither of the scales in my house are currently working (only the small one that is used for food works right now - he weighs too much for that). Then I noticed he had barfed up his amoxicillin (I didn't see the pill in in so I am wondering if he is leaving and spitting them out somewhere where I haven't found them yet). This morning he took the amoxi fine but again, no interest in the food. He is picky but these are some of his favorites so I am not sure what is going on - maybe he just doesn't like the stuff anymore. But since he is sick, I can't take the chance so I made an appointment. I knew it wouldn't last. And Barney may be headed back too - he has eye things going on again and they are really bugging him even with the meds. He is supposed to be on it for 10 days, so that means that it will be next Wednesday when he is done - hopefully they are better by then. The weather around here is just yuck so I am sure it isn't helping anyone feel good. If you could all send out some "eat your food" thoughts and purrs for Floyd though, I would really appreciate it, and I know he will too.

We will pray for Floyd. Hope he will get well soon.

* Try to feed him with the nutrigel because whenever my cats lost their appetite i will give them that and they will take it. At least they will have some nutrition...
