UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Lola update and Moo and Baa's first day here

So, before I talk about Moo and Baa's day today, I wanted to give you a Lola update. She seems ok with the paws - she had no problems that the vet found, and she walked ok when she was there. She is running a little fever so she may be getting sick - she is on antibiotics and had her first dose at the vets office. Brad said that she is over 14 lbs now, which is pretty big. She got home and went straight upstairs, but she wasn't her normal crabby self - she didn't hiss at anyone like she usually does after a vet visit. Of course she didn't really see anyone other than Virgil either. She is upstairs resting now and has to have the antibiotics twice a day. I am glad she checked out with her paws - maybe she did hurt it but is feeling better - she is a bit perkier and it is possible that if she had hurt it and wasn't getting to her food as usual that my bringing it to her helped her out (that is my only guess). We will watch her and hopefully she will liven up a bit (not that she was all that lively before).

So, today was Moo and Baa's first full day here - and they went with me to work.

Here we are at the front door of my office

Moo and Baa hung out near my monitor for a while, while I was working. Notice that my desktop is Virgil's baby picture. They had fun meeting my Domo-Kun's

Then, they helped me out with the phones for a while

Next was lunch - here they are checking out what is on the menu

After lunch we thought it would be funny to copy their behinds

This is a scan that shows what that would look like

Then they helped out with some filing

After work they decided to hang out in the kitty tent for a while

And now they are resting, hanging out with Floyd, and watching some TV

Tune in tomorrow for more of their adventures!

Moo and Baa are very cute! When mum and dad got their printer/copier, the salesperson specifically told them that photocopying backsides was not covered by warranty. MOL!

We hope tha Lola is feeling back to her usual self very soon. It is no fun at all when kitties aren't feeling well. She is lucky to have such an observant mum.

Amy,
first we are glad Lola is feeling better.
Now for the fun stuff Mom and I are LOL at the pictures of Moo and Baa
great job keeping them busy. Oh that is so funny at your office...did your co workers think you were crazy? Years ago a co worker was participating is a project for his 7 year old niece. It was something called Flat Jane Travels. Each child sent their flat jane to a family member who was in charge of Flat Jane they had to document and take pictures of her activities. She was passed on to the next family. The child who's flat jane had been the most places won something. It was so funny seeing flat jane in the physics lab. HA

I'm sorry to hear about Lola not feeling up to snuff. I hope she's her old self soon. Hissy or not!

Moo and Baa are adorable! I bet they were quite the conversation pieces at work. And of course they make very good kitty companions at home.
