UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

In response to the pic below....

I was an idiot and thought the water wasn't as high as it was (it wasn't that high yet), so I drove in - lucky for me it wasn't quite that high yet. It did get higher after that one, and that one was about half hour after I pulled in the lot. There were people after me who had it worse but still made it (one barely).  Good news is that they fixed the drains and it has finally cleared out, and it is barely raining now. Hopefully it stays that way! (If you haven't seen the picture it is below). If it was that still this afternoon I had the option of getting picked up by Brad in his truck - much higher than the Mini!

(They had a police car blocking it for a while but then the water got too high and they had to have a tow truck get it out!)

Oh boy, you got lucky! Water always is deeper than it "looks." How scary!

That is a lot of water. Wow! Glad that you made it through and didn't get stuck. You do know that you are never to drive in standing water. Hope you are over the rain now.

Thank goodness you made your journeys safely - mum hates driving through water too but at the moment it is dry here and they are talking about banning local farmers from watering!! Why is there never a happy medium?
