UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

GAAH

So I just wanted to let everyone know that I won't be doing a lot of visiting/posting because we are getting ready for the big move at work (Yuck!!) so it is tough at work and by the time I get home I know I will be super tired. I miss you all so much and it is very frustrating - I thought I would have at least this week. I will try to stay caught up as best as I can. I was off all weekend starting Thursday because of first headaches, then tons of cleaning so I am totally behing, which I am sorry and sad about too. Sorry, I don't mean to complain, I should be happy I have a job, but I am just so darn miserable. At least the cats try to cheer me up when I am home! Anyway, I hope you are all having a good new year so far - I will try to keep up as best I can!

Sometimes a bad job situation is worse than no job. It saps you mentally and physically and emotionally. When I was in that place at work, I came home and slept or cried. I am sorry that you are there and send you hugs and purrs/

moving at work IS soooo hard! I remember having to move to new buildings, sometimes just a new area within the same building. It is HARD and unsettling and then to be expected to do your work at the same time.

I hope all goes smoothly for you.
What kind of work do you do?

Maybe the move will improve things. Hug a kitty!

The Big Thing here: I went through moves many times in my career! It is always annoying, seldom well organized, and usually for no good purpose.

And keep in mind the good features of the furniture you are leaving behind. In one cubicle, I had a slide out drawer under the work surface. It was great for pens and stuff. The new office didn't have those.

So I brought a screwdriver to work the last day and took the drawer with me! I installed it under my new work surface. And if you can't, I bet there is someone in the office who can. LOL!

Some other advice, if you love your chair put a box on it and move it to your new office. Claim the chair is just to make moving the box easier. Then keep the chair. I never moved to an office where the new chairs were better than the old ones. They always get cheaper (worse)!

So I offer my professional sympathy, and the cats offer their purrs of mild comfort...

We all hope the move goes well!

My mom knows how you feel about a bad situation at a job. She was miserable a little over a year ago, but things did get better.

Purring for you!
