UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Poor Baby!

Hi Everyone - this is just a quickie but I hope to post a bit more later. I am using that extra laptop again. Anyway, things are crazy at our house getting ready for Thanksgiving, and the cats have all been doing ok, well, until last night. Barney got sick - barfed quite a bit, but seemed ok after. Then later he did it again, but was still acting normal. This morning when I got up he was sleeping in the bathroom in the towels, which isn't unusual, but usually he gets up to say hello, but he just looked at me like "mommy I don't feel so good", and when I went to feed them he didn't come running down. He did come and sit on the landing, but he just didn't want breakfast. I took him to the sofa to sit with me while I had breakfast, and told him he should rest today. I did get him a vet appointment for tomorrow morning but I am hoping this is just a little bit of an upset tummy and it will pass. But he is scheduled if not. I told all the others to be nice and not bother him too much, but to try and give him some snuggles - I am sure they will.

Other than that it is just Thanksgiving prep - I am so behind on everything it is not even funny. But hopefully I will be ready for dinner on time Thursday - but because of that the posts and visits will be slim for a few days. I do plan to give an update later or after the vet, and try to get some pictures up. And Thursday is Kirzon's gotcha day so I am going to do a post about that too. After that I will be doing more catching up I hope!

I hope everyone is doing ok - I have been so behind and I know so many are not doing good right now - it makes me so sad. I am going to try and visit everyone at least once in the next couple days. I also have stuff to ship out for the Halloween contest, and for the last Auction, which I am also behind in getting ready.  And don't even ask the last time I checked my email - I have no clue - it is probably full by now!

See you later!

Poor Barney. Our Tucker gets that sometimes, and it usually passes within a day or two. Can you try giving him some hairball remedy in case he has a hairball?

Lots of purrs to Barney; we hope he's okay!

You know, about all this "stuff" and being behind, doing updates, etc: Someone in our mom's building (not her dept) died very suddenly a couple of weeks ago. He went down to the hospital in the afternoon and died that night, not a heart attack. Never found out what, but he was only in his late 50s or thereabouts.

And our grandma's oldest friend has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, there's nothing they can do for her. It's palliative care till she dies. She's 70.

So you know what? Don't worry about getting ready for Thanksgiving. Don't worry about catching up. None of this is life and death and ultimately doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

That's why it's "blogging without obligation."

(((Hugs))) and Light.

Barney is in our thoughts and prayers. We certainly have been busy around here too. About Ozabella....I will have to take this matter to Mike and Beth. We will give it great consideration as Ozabella is just 7 months old I am sure there will be a list of guidelines regarding this matter. I will call a meeting and when a decision has been made I will let you know Gus. (FYI -- I think you would be good for her....she is really a pain some days....)Until later....have a Happy Thanksgiving....

I hope that Barney feels better very soon. Barfing is no fun at all. I am sure that your Thanksgiving will go just fine.

Our mom has been busy and we're way behind on visits, too. I'm sorry that Barney is barfy. I've been frowing up the past few days, also, but that's kind of my M.O.. Mom has been keeping a close eye on me, and if I start doing it more frequently or not acting like myself, I guess I'll win myself a trip to the vet, too. But I think I'm ok. :)

Your friend, Fuzzy
