UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

A Non-Cat Day

Hi Everyone! Oh I so hate my job and now it is such torture because I can't do anything online (I am still trying to find a way) and it is so frustrating. I have a smartphone but it is so hard to see the blogs outside of reader, and I can't comment in reader - it is just so frustrating! It sucks that the only thing that made the job tolerable is gone now - and boy, it is going to get even worse when we move (we are combining our office with the other division, and not only is it 3 times farther than I would ever want to work, but I will most likely be the only person in there from my division - and the girls in the office pretty much treat us like garbage - and even though I have gone to management about it they just don't care). Ok, sorry for the venting about the job, it is just such a crappy place to be most of the time. I have said it before - a job should not make you cry every day. I have been looking for a new one but there just aren't any around here that I am qualified for (I still apply for many of them anyway, just in case). Ok, seriously need to stop thinking about the job. I am trying to work on visiting but it is going to be slow right now, and I am SUPER behind - so please know that I miss you all so much and that I hope everyone will be happy and healthy!!

Ok, so for the rest of my non-cat post, it is time to post the pics from Halloween! I took a ton of pictures of the decorations (of course they don't really do much, so they are all pretty much the same)- I hope you like them!! Oh, and there are a couple cat pictures in there - they were sitting in the patio door at various times when I took pictures. Some they are small and in the background, but I did take a couple close ups.

Amy, job stress is a killer! Please don't take on more by fretting about visiting...we all understand and know you do the best you can. Take some special time to pamper yourself and cuddle with the kitties. Breathe deeply. Feel the Power of the Paw sending calming vibes.

Oh. Wow.

I love them pumpkins all lit up!!!! WOW!!I wasn't expecting them to be lit up so prettily - that's amazing!! Awww! They're brilliant pics - thank you - these are not decorations they're ART! Oh yes!! Aww look at Barney and Gus!! Awwww!! Lovely!!

Oh Amy - I'm truly sorry about your workplace. NO of course work should NOT leave you crying everyday, no that's WRONG! And it's imperative your bosses see that and deal with it- and if they don't then someone ought to!! Oh that makes me mad!! I am shaking my fists and going grrrrrr at those horrid people making your working life hell!! May they all have rotten teeth, bad breath and ugly feet!!!

Hang on in there!! I will pray very hard that you become successful with your job applications. That place is not healthy for you!!! And of course vent away here if you wish - I'd rather you did than keep it all tightly wound inside you! Take care Amy and hello to Barney, Gus, Stella, Kirzon, Virgil, Lola!!! Take care
x

Your Halloween decorations are very cool! Love the kitties in the windows too!

Sorry about your job stress. I understand what it's like to have to be at a job but to hate every minute you are there. It's good you are looking around for another one and the day you turn in your resignation will feel like the world has lifted off your shoulders. Hang in there, it'll happen!

Beautiful! We don't really do Halloween here in NZ. In the past few years some kids have started going trick or treating, but generally no one decorates their house or carves pumpkins. It looks like lots of fun! we got no trick or treaters this year, which is a pity cos the hoomans actually had chocolate to give out this year! They will have to eat it all themselves...boo hoo hoo

We are sorry for the job stress -

Yes, it should not make you cry - just as I try not to cry wondering what I'll do soon when my 'weeks' run out -

Thanks for the smiles too!

We will be sure to beware of the KHATS!

I think your place looks great!!! Especially all lit up at night orange and blue :-)

Try not to worry about work too much, those nasty girls probably have miserable lives without cats! I have my fingers crossed that you find something else soon :-)

Oh dearest Amy! How fun the Halloween decor looks! The picture show them very well. I like the time of the year when autumn arives and things begin to settle down outside.
I am ever so sorry to hear about your job being such a drain on your heart...there is nothing worse than that frustration of being unhappy at ones work place. Life is so short and precious and people can be so very cruel. Know how much we care and wish we could hug you.
We visitied with your precious Floyd once again...how wonderful love can be. I know it is still so hard...
Miss Peach is a fiesty furry terrorist at the cozy cottage and knows just how to push my worn out buttons...
Much love from the cozy cottage XOXOXOX

Tha Halloween pics are super!

Amy, I am so sorry about your job. I really understand what you are going through, because I had a job I hated for a while and it made me feel utterly miserable. I ended up resigning because i couldn't stand it for one minute longer(having looked around for another job to no avail).
A whole year of unemployment folowed where I had to use all my saving to survive (whilst recovering from surgery for cancer). It was grim ~ although i have vowed to never allow myself to stay in any job that makes me so unhappy again.
I now have a part time job I like ~ although not nearly enough hours ~ but I'd rather be happy and poor. I've had to trim back my outgoings and make cuts ~ meanwhile I continue to look for more work.
Please keep looking for work you will enjoy. Life is too short to be unhappy. Someone with your caring compassionate nature and friendly big heart, will be able to find the right job eventually.

In the meantime (((((hugs))))

Love Jan xx

I am sorry you are feeling so stressed about your job. On one hand, it's great to have a job, but it stinks that it makes you cry. Remember, it's just a job and won't last forever. Keep looking for another job, and remember you have wonderful kitties waiting for you to come home every day!

Your Halloween decorations are great, and as a bonus we got to see three kitties in the photos!

Your house looks awesome! I know about unpleasant work places, and I hope that you are able to find something better soon. It really takes a toll on you to work someplace that makes you unhappy. Good luck!!!

Love the decorations. Love the lights. Loved the Ash videos (yesterday).

Amy, I'm glad you vented. We all care about you out here. Spending so much time at a job that hurts so deeply is very lousy. I wish you BIG luck in finding another job. And just know that all of us are sending you strength!
