The Hippo Has Landed! And Thankful Fur Three Bloghop, plus a bit of Garden Talk!

Hi Everyone! Exciting news -Hugo has arrived at our friends Chez Cat! Be sure to go over to say hello and see how his visit goes - and who knows, maybe he could be visiting you next! I am going to set up a Hugo Page, to track his visits and so that you can find his posts! Since I have all my static pages used up (though not all showing right now - someday I hope to finish them), I will be doing a pre-dated post and just add a link for it at the top (or in the sidebar - not sure yet). I am super excited and hope he gets to meet a lot of you!!

Also, today is Garden Thursday - ours is looking a bit ragged now, so I am going to talk about the aerogardens instead. A lot of you have asked about them - I think it is prety cool, and am amazed that the seed grew at all after so long. The mint is taking over (I really need to trim it) and the basil is doing good, but everything else is pretty small - but again, the seeds are old, so I am amazed they grew at all. But I think over all I would have to recommend the aerogarden because it is pretty cool. Since I got this one, they have come out with a lot of new styles (I have a 7 pod - a pod is a plant/seed holder) but they now have 6 and 3 pod units too. And, the coolest thing is that they just came out with a catnip pod! And they also have the kind you can fill with your own seeds (not pre-seeded like I have), and even a seedling starter kit. I really want to get a couple small ones for things like tomatoes, hot peppers, and of course cat nip! I just don't know where I would put them!

Next week I promise to have some pics for the garden post - our tree will be coming in this weekend at some point too, so I will get a picture of it!
