Well, as normal as things can be at our house! Kirzon's fur is growing back in, and he isn't pulling any more that I have seen (either by seeing him do the pulling or by finding any fur tufts around) and Stella's eye is good. Barney is still over licking, and no one will wear a shirt. I haven't tried the cut and tie technique yet but that is most promising - problem is that the area Barney licks isn't really coverable. Gus is still Gus, Virgil is still Virgil and Lola is still Lola. Virgil has started to want to spend time in Lola's room - not even because of the cruncies (Barney zooms in and makes a beeline to the food - is that right - is it B-line - I am not sure because I don't think I ever had to spell it out before). I have some video of the cats playing I need to post, but Brad took it so I need to get it from him. I haven't been taking too many pics lately, but plan to start again - but right now all the Halloween stuff has taken over the living room! The cats are fascinated.
Oh, and Brad wants to write about Gus - I won't say why but he has a story that he just loves, and has a strange theory about Gus, though I guess I can see what he is saying. But he hasn't written it yet for me to post (I thought if I mentioned it maybe it would get him on the ball!)
Work is a bit calmer this week so I have less stress and therefore more visiting time - yay!
It was crazy hot this weekend - like in the 80's - so we barbecued yesterday and boy, that was tough with the kittens because they wanted to investigate everything. I made pizza's on the grill, and they kept climing up to check out the dough and flour (on the table I had to put flour so it wouldn't stick - they wanted to lick it). Luckily I covered each part with parchment so even when they tried to jump up it was safe - luckily they didn't step on it though because I would have hated to have to re-roll it (it is very finicky so it takes a couple tries to roll). And then with the back screen door open they were just fascinated - we don't open those doors too much, so they don't sit there too often. The doors are very old and gross - so there is gross stuff in the track, and our back yard area is pretty gross too. I would love to get it cleaned up but it is tough. Maybe that will be something for next year!
Anyway, I will have some sort of pictures later on today - or maybe if I can get the videos from Brad I will post those! For those of you who are off for Columbus Day I hope you have a nice time, and for those of you who don't (like me for example) I hope your day is good too!

It is good to hear that things are getting back to a normal pace for you. When anyone has too much on their plate it starts to feel overwhelming. Glad all the babies are doing so well.

Wow, isn't it wonderful that normal sounds so very good?!?
Glad things are settling down a bit. In the 80's here, too. I'm trying to enjoy all the "hot" I can get. Winter will be here before we know it.
Pizza on the grill - yummy!!!
Your pal, Pip
Normal? Mommy isn't sure she knows what that is!
You guys are warmer than us! Weird weather.
Thanks for the update; looking forward to Brad's story about Gus...Hope you all have a fun week, sweet friends...kisses...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Normal is always good.
I am happy things are going good at your house. Ozabella is settling down....so she don't talk non stop! She says "hi" to Gustin. And -- GO VIKINGS!
Oh it's great to hear that things are settling down! Great news about Lola, Virgil and Gus! Also yay that Kirzon's fur is growing back, Stella's eye is better and hopefully Barney's over licking will subside. And still no-one wants to wear the shirt! LOL!! Oh that made me laugh!
Yay that you had a fab weekend esp. weather wise for a bbq! Brilliant!
I look forward to Brad's post about Gus - I'm very intrigued now! Now I have to investigate Columbus day - Happy Columbus Day to everyone there! Take care

Glad that things are back to "your" normal. :)
Normal is more relaxing, glad the babies are doing better. Looking forward to Brad's blog about Gus.
Yay for normal! Now, what does that word mean again?
That pizza sounded yummy. Here's something I don't understand, though. WHY are kittehs allowed up on counters and tables and stuff and I'm not? I finds this somewhat a little unfair.
I can't wait to hear Brad's story about Gus! Hurry, hurry, Mr. Brad!

Glad the pace is slowing and everything is approaching mornal, whatever that is! Pizzas on the grill sound great but we are glad to be past summer...I love Autumn!
Sounds like the kitties are doing good--we are intrigued about the theory about Gus! Mama says that we can try pizza on the grill at our new place because we have a huge backyard. She also says "what's normal?"
