So today was the kittens second vet trip, for their second set of kitten shots and to check on their worm issue. The trip was good - some meowing but mostly pretty calm. We got them weighed and they are huge - Gus is already 5 1/4 pounds, and Stella is 4 1/4. Their siblings Cosmo and Louise were there and Louise is 4 and Cosmo is 4 1/4, so that tells you that Gus is a BIG boy! They were both very good and very curious - they got their shots and didn't complain or fight, and they got checked and the good news is that they are worm free! They go back in 4 weeks for their final set of shots and then we will probably be able to schedule their spaying and neutering - Gus is actually big enough now but I want them to be able to go together. While we were there we got to say hi to Louise and Cosmo - they are both such cuties, and you can totally tell that Louise and Stella are sisters. The trip home was good, and they were glad to be here - because they got their breakfast, which they ate fine. Now Gus is napping next to me and Stella is sitting on a nearby chair (she came over then decided she needed to do a big of exploring). And, in what is a surprising first, right now Banrey and Lola are sleeping next to each other on the couch - I will try and get a picture to post but I am not sure that will happen, because knowing my luck they will wake up when I try. Anyway, here are a few assorted pics of everyone.

Wowza, Gus and Stella are growing like weeds! (especially Gus) We are glad they don't have any problems now.
PS Virgil, I can't wait for your party tomorrow!
Hurrah for a successful vet visit! The kittens *are* big! Here, they will spay/neuter when the weight is 3 lbs. Still kind of small (and young), IMO, but that's how it's done at so many shelters (I presume).
LOVED the pics!
A very happy July 4th to you all (we had our Canada Day on the 1st). Have a safe and fun weekend!
I am glad that the vet visit went so well! The pictures of everyone are so good, ya got a house full of cuties!
That is interesting your last name being Hitchcock! Most of moms favorite movies are Hitchcock movies! Her favorite is North by Northwest, then Marnie, then a whole big list of them!!
We are glad that vet visit went well!
Oops! We forgot to add! Those last five pictures are furry interesting!

Glad to hear all went well at the V-E-T. (I don't like to say the word out loud.) I can't believe you are all so good there. Also, your pictures are all SO cute. I especially like the ones of everyone snuggling. Hope you all have a great 4th! (Oh, and thanks so much for your help with my blog!!)
What sweet cats snd kittens, I love it when they sleep in a pile like that!
Of course, had you moved to take the photo they would have changed positions, followed you... the cute moment would be gone. That's why I have my cameras on me all the time, and still I miss the good stuff. Gus is big, huh? I'm learning. Love that you got them tested instead of just "bombing" their little systems - which is what my vet wants me to do.
