UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

This is not a video

Because for some reason Blogger wouldn't let me upload. I have done it before with the videos from my video camera but now it is a no apparently. I looked at the files and maybe it is the type, I am not sure. I tried going through another site and it wouldn't even recognize them. So until I figure it out I won't have any to post. I will have to ask Brad I guess - since he figured it out last time.

The kittens are doing good - they have so much energy! It is so funny to watch them playing together because they just love to wrestle and play THoE (thundering herd of elephants) for so long! And lets see, last night Gus napped next to Kirzon for a while - and almost put his head on him - but not quite. I will have a picture of that later. Oh, and they have learned that they can get onto the bathroom counter by jumping on the toilet - and they love it. Not interested in drinking out of the faucet but still find it fun up there. And last night as they were playing THoE I was watching them - they go back and forth from the bathroom to the bedroom, and I was in the bed, so I could see into the bathroom in the reflection on the closet doors (our closet doors are mirrored - I hate them but they are good for checking the bathroom when I hear a cat in there) and I see Gus leap from the toilet to the laundry basket - it isn't that far but farther then I would think he would want to try. But he made it no problem and then did it a few more times. They also just started to climb the laundry basket - and that is so fun to them. Oh, and I tried a different canned food with Stella - she liked it but still prefers her crunchies. The other cats are getting better about hanging out near the kittens - they are getting closer (especially Kirzon). I am wondering if Kirzon has taken it upon himself to be the tolerant one now that he is the alpha cat - Floyd used to be the first one to warm up to any new cats, so maybe he is trying to carry on that tradition.

Well, everyone is sure settling down fast! We can't wait for the kitten videos--we just love their tiny little squeaks. Oh and she says thanks for the compliments on the tart--mama may have to start a cooking blog at some point!

We find blogger pretty useless with videos and now use You Tube even for short clips!
We look forward to seeing the kittens.

Your kitties sound to fun to watch and play with! Kittens are always so playful and silly. They always make my human laugh out loud with their antics.

We're glad that they're getting used to being with your older kitties. Krizon, way to go, being a good big brother to the newbies!

Amy, you are a really nice mom to let kittens sleep in the bedroom with you - I know how hard it is to get any sleep then. We wouldn't let Tasha in the bedroom at night for six months!

Glad the other cats seem to be warming up to the kittens, but sorry about the video issues!

What fun that sounds like. Makes me almost want some kittens. But I think everyone here would just give up.
Glad to hear that Kirzon is putting up a little bit with the kids.
Have a fun day with those kittens.

Sounds like the kittens are settling in so well, and it's good that Kirzon is stepping up to be the mancat of the family in welcoming the newbies. Can't wait to see videos, or at least more photos! (When we do videos, we load them to YouTube and then embed them in the post.)

Purrs and hugs,

I agree with the youtube approach. I've seen several already, and they all had ways to send to your blog when you were done, but I imagine that you'd have more options as the author.

Awww I'm sorry that blogger is being funny about loading the video!

But never mind!! All you have to mentions is THoE and I can already see and hear gorgeous Gus and Stella!! It's so great to read that they are fiesty and fun and just being such fab kitties! And great to know that they are feeling very brave around Kirzon - they must feel he's the most approachable of the older kitties so far. And yes, maybe Kirzon is stepping up where the wonderful Floyd used to!

I'm off to vote for the lovely Pepper now - you are so right!! I couldn't resist her adorable face!

Take care
