UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Meezers needing help in KY! Update with additional info!

Hi Everyone - we just saw a post about some Meezers in KY that need help quickly - their owners husband passed away and the owner can't live on her own so her kids moved in but are allergic so they went to a shelter - but it is a high kill shelter and so they don't have a lot of time. There are six of them that need help - if you know anyone in the area who can help them out please contact them - here is a link to the post at Nico's site, which has a link in it: Meezers need Help!!

Update - here is an additional post from Katiez Furry Mewz with some contact info for a Siamese rescue org that may be able to help - contact them if you can to see if they can help out. Help the Meezers!

If you haven't, be sure to check out the Friday Friends post below!!

Update: Two of the four have found homes - the remaining four are males, the ones with homes are female. If you can help in any way please check the links above for more info.

Why would ANYONE who loves an animal surrender it to a kill shelter, especially a high kill shelter???!!!...Sorry, but I am furious at people like this=they never deserved the love of those innocent babies in the first place=very uncaring people do this sort of thing!...This is so upsetting to me, sorry for the rant.

Sometimes there isn't a no-kill shelter in the area. ::sigh:: Or one that you can find. Like I wish the woman next door could find one or someone to take her mid-size female dog which she keeps outside on a chain. She's bitten my husband once when he went to get her untangled. So she'll need rehab poor thing!

This makes us so sad - we saw the photos of the poor kitties on the Black and Orange Cat Foundation blog and they look miserable in the shelter.

P.S. Our mom looked up Georgetown, Kentucky on the map and it is also very close to Cincinnati and other parts of Ohio and not that far from Indianapolis - so if anyone knows anyone who can help there, it might be good to contact them.

It's so upsetting to hear about these poor kitties who are left at shelters because their owners are dying or can no longer care for them due to circumstances beyond their control.

I am purring that the remaining kitties could find lovinghomes soon.
