UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

We're Back!

So, after a weekend of crazy cleaning and kitten prep we are back! The stupid cold made it more tiring, so I didn't get as much done as planned, but I still got most of it done. I also got a new cat bed (identical to the one I had gotten for the kittens that was taken over by the big guys) so they have their own place to enjoy! It is currently on top of some boxes - and sideways - so I don't see it being stolen by anyone! I still have some stuff to take care of in my office, and the "storage" room, plus we need to get the Christmas stuff from the storage under the stairs to the actual storage locker, and the downstairs needs to be tackled, but it was pretty successful. Oh, and there was some progress made in the bathroom that we started to redo LAST JULY - the sink still hasn't been hooked up, but it did actually get closer!

Barney was very funny - he was very "I must hang out with mom" while I was cleaning in the bathrom - I was trying to clean the counter (which betweeen me and the cats can gather a lot of hair/fur) and he would jump up, watch and try to grab my sponge (technically a "magic eraser") and I had to keep putting him on the ground. Oh, and I did discover that someone peed in the dirty towels - Kirzon usually sleeps there but Barney had started to do so, so I am wondering if Kirzon did to "claim" the towels. I am just glad that the towels were separate from the clothes! I added a bunch of cat pee cleaner to the laundry and they seem fine now. I also realized that plumbing parts (the seals you use in the pipe fitting) are the same to cats as milk top rings - instant attraction! We had one that broke (it split but was still a ring) and Virgil is loving it!

Anyway, the plan is to catch up on visiting this week - other than one menu check on saturday (take out is a blessing when cleaning) I literaly haven't been online since I left work on Thursday - and hope to get some good kitty pics - now that things are more organized it will give me more oppertunity to get pics (I hate to take them when things are messy). I will let you know now, that this weekend will be the same - cleaning, so odds are we will be offline again starting on Friday (and with the holiday Monday I will most likely be back Tuesday). I do plan to do my Friends on Friday post, because those are nice to schedule ahead. If you would like to participate this week let me know - that way I won't have to think about it!!

I hope you all had a great weekend and have a wonderful week!!

Can I ask what kind of cat pee cleaner you added to the laundry? I'm always up for better ways to remove cat pee from cat beds!

Don't you wish we could successfully teach our cats to clean? My house would be spotless! :)
