Hi Everyone - I am a bit behind on visiting again. I usually am able to from work but there has been some stuff going on there that I had to deal with - not the least of which is our one guy who was shocked about 2 weeks ago (he is fine but it has become a big problem for other reasons - oh, and the reason he was shocked is that I work for a battery company - he is one of the oldest employees there and should have known better then to do what he did, but he did it anyway, which is part of the issue). Anyway I am behind on visiting and have a very busy weekend but I am going to be catching up too.
Anyway, the big thing is that tomorrow is Barney's first birthday!! I know a lot of kitty blogs have parties and we are doing that sort of - we are doing a retrospective of pics from Barney's first year! We have had him since he was very tiny - probably about 4 1/2 weeks old (so his birthday is just a guess because I went back from the day we picked him up and picked a day or so before 4 weeks on the calendar). I picked some really cute pics from the blog to show him as he grows up. He is still totally a kitten in his face - it is so funny because he looks like a giant (13 lbs!) kitten. It is hard to get that kitten-ness in pictures but I think it still comes through most of the time. There are some times where he looks like and adult, but he still has his cute smiley face!
So be sure to stop by tomorrow - I did the post earlier in the week when I had more time so I may have to stop by myself to see it!!

Okay, either you take pictures at particularly flattering angles or Barney carries his weight really really well, because he does NOT look like he weighs that much!

Oh, my mom said when she first read about that guy at your work being shocked she didn't get what the big deal was cuz she's ALWAYS shocked at the shenanigans that go on at HER work. But then she figured out that it was a whole different kind of shock.
