UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Aaaahhhchoooo

So,is it just my cats, or all all cats freaked out by sneezing? I have literally had cats run for their lives if I sneeze while they are on my lap. Lola is probably the calmest. They even bolt sometimes if they are just nearby. I don't understand it - it isn't like I run away when they sneeze on me or anything (and I don't even sneeze on them - I at least cover my mouth, which they don't do). In case you haven't guessed, I now have a full blown headcold (which I will take over a chest cold or the flu any day). That is why I didn't do much visiting yesterday - I wasn't up to it. But Brad brought me tasty Mexican chicken soup (from Cozymels - their house soup is tasty and actually kind of what I base my version on). Amazingly the cats were not super beggy for it - chicken is usually a draw. Maybe the sneezing did it. Anyway, my point is that the cats are weird for running from me because I sneezed.

I will be trying to get some pics up tonight and of course tomorrow is our Friends on Friday post - don't miss it!

I am very much sorry that you're sickie! But I hope you get better super duper fast!

My kitteh sister Abby darts away lickety split at the sound of mom or dad sneezing. But you can pretty much do anything around Brudder Ripley and he won't budge once he's ensconced (that's a big Mom word).

Oh no, you have a cold too! I've felt crummy since Monday with it in my head and chest. Then the coughing started yesterday. Uuuuugh. I feel your pain.

Oh dear! Purrs from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde & their Feeders in hopes you feel better sooner!!

"Mom makes everyone take this icky stuff with cayenne pepper when they get colds and wild cherry bark cough syrup when they cough. Most of us startle when anyone sneezes but we don't run away. Mom says everyone gets more colds when allergies pick up. She makes our feeders all sneeze & cough into their elbows or shoulders. We're not sure why. She doesn't make us do it!!"

Mommy does a screamy sneeze and Daddy does a shouty sneeze, and ALWAYS twice in a row! We head for the hills, they're just plain old LOUD.
You kitties purr on you Mom and get her better, soon.

I only run when our beans cough. TSB sneezes all the time so usually I'm cool with it.

Awwww Bless you!! :-)
I hope the chicken soup helped and I hope you are now feeling a little better!
Kitties running away because of sneezes is so funny! I do know what you mean. I have hayfever and my previous kitties would scatter whenever I sneezed!

Take care

Bless You!!!! May your cold disappear soon. Sometimes my cats react to when I sneeze and sometimes they don't. Which is kind of weird. Guess maybe it depends how loud they are. Patches and Casper has been sneezing a bit lately too. Wonder if it might be the wind we have been having lately. Sure wish it would quit

Hope you feel better! Spicy food is great for a head cold...mom loves to eat East Indian curries and such when she is sick. Your Mexican chicken soup would not have been ignored here, both Quinn and I love it! Quinn runs when humans sneeze, too!

We all go running when my human sneezes too. In fact, we think it's weird that she doesn't run away when one of us sneezes.

Yes, my kitties react the same way to my Aaaaahhhchooo too! Weird...

Instead, when they (the kitties) sneeze, it is right to my face with "discharge"! Yuckks...

TBT: I dont sneeze often, but when I do (from dust), the cats run. It must sound like a real big "NO".

We just look at mama when she sneezes. We're used to all the weird sounds that humans make. Hope your cold goes away fast!
