I took this video the other day of Virgil - it is on my phone so it isn't great, but we was doing a lot of his squeaking so I wanted to get a record of it to post. The funny thing is that his meow sounds pretty different - much louder and less squeaky. The person talking in the backgroud, in case you are wondering, is me.

Virgil is adorable, a real sweetheart!...My babies squeak like that too and their meows sound much different...My biggest girl, Calle, has the highest pitch meow=very cute!...And my Daddy Cat has a sweet meow, not the tough guy cat meow he thinks he has!!

Virgil is being vocal. He sounds cute. Mom says it's funny how each of us have our own meow's. Patches is very loud, Cleo's is sweet and quiet and mine is quick meow meow. Good video of you Virgil.

Virgil's squeaking sounds a little like Boodie's regular talking. She doesn't have a real meow.
He sure has a lot to say! I love the careful attention he pays to his surroundings...so purposeful!

Virgil is such a sweetie! Derry squeaks too, rather than meows (if he's meowing it's because he sees an introoder cat or something of that nature). Those squeaks will get Derry just about anything he wants--and he knows it. I imagine Virgil's squeaks would garner him whatever he wants too. LOL!

He is so sweet! That is a squeaky trill. He has a squeak at the start but then trills. I just thought of something, the trill is rather like a vibrato. Does that make sense?

LMAO don't tell them this, but both my boys have the most girlish-sounding cries you've ever heard, especially compared to the actual ladycat of the house! MOL they're so cute though. But yes, they all sound completely different. When they start yapping I can yell at 'em from the other room and KNOW I'm yelling at the right one.

How cute! Tasha squeaks almost all the time - the only time she meows is when she's going to the vet! We took a poll on the blog and found out that lots of other torties squeak too - and Virgil too, of course!

That's a very adorable sound. I've heard variations of it, here, too! It's so plaintive -- he must really want something. I think he wants you to put down the camera and pat him.
Virgil's eyes are so expressive, too. He's so sweet.
