ETA - I decided to add a side angle - the open part goes most of the way around then the front is how you see it. The sides unzip from the top and bottom and it all goes together and the top and bottom zip together with the middle inside.

Pics of the carrier plus bonus Virgil pic!
So, I wanted to get a picture of Barney in the carrier (or as I like to call it his house) and he wasn't in it, so I told him to go in his house - and he did. He got out after the pictures, and wouldn't do it again. It had to be coincidence but it was still cool. Anyway, here he is in the carrier, and then I did a top shot so you can see the shape - it is like a rounded rectangle.

That's a very neat carrier, I've not seen one like that. I have 3 that open from the top and they are fabulous. They make getting the cats in for vet trips super easy. Just open the top, plop them in, close, and that's it. No more struggling, trying to stuff them in the traditional way, or upending the carrier and trying to drop them in. LOL.

Very fancy! Our carriers are plain old carriers that Momma has had for ages! She use to have Pekes for decades before she gotcha'd us.

If you can't find one (or someone else can't find one & send it to you!) then I suggest eBay. (eBay is myyyyyyy friend!) I looked on the Petmate site & they sure don't have it listed. It might be a commissioned 'store only' carrier or been discontinued. However, if it's been discontinued, you can write them (or call) and ask if you can still buy one. Plead the kitty!! ::grin::

WOW! That is such a cool carrier!!! and if you have a vet scardy cat they can retrieve said kitty from the top! AWESOME! Virgil and Barney are both looking fabulous!
Cute carrier! The closest pet smart is probaably 75 miles or more from us, so my human bean gets there about once a year to ohh and ahh over the the guinea pigs. MOL
