It's Virgil Day!!!

And that means it is commentathon day!!! So, as you know for every comment left I will be donating twenty five cents and Brad will be donating 25 cents to Cat Guardians, the local no-kill shelter where I adopted Floyd from way back in 1996. We will count comments left from 12:01 am to 11:59 pm central daylight time - if you aren't sure of the times for you, there is a link in a post below if you scroll down.

Now, please don't spam the blog - you know, with a lot of the same stuff posted in a row (multiple comments are ok, but not in a spamlike fashion), or a bunch of nonsense (or that is not normally acceptable anyway) then I am 1) not going to post it and 2) not going to count it. I know most of you would never do anything like that so I am not too worried. Comments will still be moderated, and since I can't be checking it constantly there will be a bit of a lag, especially for the times when I am asleep. If I see multiples of the same comment I will most likely just assume it was an error (either blogger or you did what I often do, which is get impatient and hit submit a couple times) and delete. Now, if you want to post, then come back and check and drop another quick note, and then visit again a bit later and comment, that is cool, we are good with that, and it will count. I just have seen one or two get spammed a bit and that just seems unfair. You don't have to say too much - just a hello is great!!

The reason it is Virgil day, for those of you who don't know, is because he is today in the Cute Overload desk calendar (in the wall calender is is I think October 22 - I know it is October).I know it is weird that it is donating to Floyd's shelter but Virgil was not really at a shelter - he was found on a step and brought into our vets office, where I met him and fell in love!So now, for your viewing pleasure, I am including a scan of today's page, along with the original picture, because the scan is a bit dark around his nose area. Then, I also wanted to post a picture of Floyd, since he is how we learned about Cat Guardians. Enjoy!!
