UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Yay, Pictures are Back!!

I am getting very close to caught up with everyone! I will be caught up with visits hopefully tonight, then I can keep up at a normal pace! And I have to get caught up at the NKC too! That is the next plan - to do the badges that I have owed forever.

The cats are crazy - Virgil keeps knocking stuff down. Kirzon is super snuggly. Barney and Lola are upstairs (I think). Kirzon's bald spot is filling in - it always seems to take forever with him, but I think it is the fact that he has light skin under his black furs. I have been getting pretty good reactions to the food so far. I am trying to avoid corn for sure (one of the big cat allergens from what I have read) and hope to get totally away from grains soon. Virgil is the biggest issue - he is the one most likely to just not eat. I have Fancy Feast for him when that happens, but even he is getting a bit better. We are lucky because between the PetSmart and Petco nearby and the Pet Supplies Plus that is a bit further we have a lot of food option. The Pet Supplies Plus has the best selection of grain free - they carry their favorite brand, Taste of the Wild. They are much less picky with the crunchy food - Taste of the Wild is their favorite but they also like the Core and the Blue Buffalo. It is the canned that is usually more of a problem, but even that is not going too bad.

So, we are going to have some exciting news on April 1st that we will be announcing. It is something we are going to be doing for Go Orange for Animals month. We will also be changing to orange (well, the background will stay black but our text and header will be orange) for the month of April.

So, I am going to have new pics soon - I haven't uploaded the birthday present pics yet and will post those with some new kitty pics very soon. I also will finally be getting to my awards posting. I am so glad it is almost the end of the fiscal year!

Good news that Kirzon's bald spot is going away! And also that Virgil is still eating and has Fancy Feast as a back up!

PeeEss: Our daddy is going back to school to learn Network/Systems Administration stuff. He's a computer programmer/analyst now so the networking stuff will make him a major techie.

If you figure out how to keep at a "normal pace" please tell Moma. She tries. She really does. But we seem to either be scampering along at a very quick rate, or napping in the sun. We don't know how to teach her to go at a more balanced pace. We've sort of given up on the idea.

Sigh.

Hi

Oh Yay, blogger is behaving itself for now! :-)

Great to hear that Kirzon's fur is growing! He and Barney and Lola and Virgil sound like they're so full of the joys of spring! Good luck with the new diet regime - I hope Virgil gets a feel and taste for it asap!

I look forward to 1 April and the Orange day! How exciting!

Take care

Morning Amy and Kitties,
Great post. It is for sure hard to figure out what is and is not good for our kitties to eat. My daughter's Cornish Rex had a real battle with IBS. They finally figured out he could not tolerate most cat foods. He is now on a special kibble made from duck. He is doing great...only thing is it leaves his tongue dark and then when he grooms his white turns beige...but all in all a small price to pay for a healthy kitty.Thankfully he does not mind a bath.

phew! It was quite a worry with the pics yesterday wasn't it? I barked to my Jeannie not to fiddle with the computer in trying to sort it, cos she usually messes it all up!

Yes, it has been a bit crazy and
when you have computer problems it
make it crazier! I think orange is a
very nice way to celebrate our
animal friends! :)
