They found out this morning that both Hanel's hips had broken, so he is now having both sides done - and he is halfway through as of the last update, which can be found
HERE. His mom is very nervous so if you could add some calming purrs and thoughts for her that would be great!

We just got back from visiting Hansel. It makes us sad to think of him having broken hips and surgery ... and we'll be keeping our paws crossed that all goes well. And easy. Quickly.

Thanks for the update. I just read that he came through the surgery fine but the vet is concerned about one of the femurs.

Mom is a push over...I didn't really get into any trouble. When she turned to close the door she saw me and asked Dad to get the camera. Funny thing is as soon as I jumped out I ran right for the table and hunkered down. Dang flashy beast knows all and sees all!
