UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Thank you to everyone - we are back!

So I wanted to start this out by saying a big thanks to everyone who sent their wonderful thoughts and who posted such wonderful things about Floyd on their blogs. It was just so great. And I have to give a special shout out to Thomas, Charlie and Lola at The Paw Relations because not only did they do a lovely post about Floyd but they also were so kind that they sent a package of cat treats for him, when we were still able to get him to eat treats. It unfortunatly arrived after we had to say goodbye but it was just so amazingly sweet that they did this. We love all our blog frieds out there for being so great - honestly I got a nicer response from all of you then from some people who I know and who had actually met him in person. We had a tough weekend because we went to pick up his ashes on Saturday but things do seem to be getting better. I know we all miss him so much though.

You may have noticed that I changed the look of the blog a bit - since October is over I wanted to change from pink, and I had a green banner and so I went green. I am not sure what to do right now about the banner - on one had it is sad to have the one with Floyd on it up, but on the other hand it is sad to not have him in it. So right now I am sticking with the basics. I am going to be updating my bloglist soon - I had planned to do it sooner but then things got bad with Floyd. So if you are new or if you aren't listed let me know in the comments. I know that there are some I thought were there that aren't so please be assured that it is just me being a dork if you are a regular visitor and I didn't add you. Again - just let me know in the comments (or email is ok too).

This Wednesday is my birthday - I have some great pics that Zoolarty did that I will be posting - even the ones with Floyd. And for his birthday on the 25th I am working on a post about his - it has gotten very long and there aren't even pictures yet. I had thought about doing a commetathon on his birthday but since it is right before the holiday I decided to do it on my birthday. So for every comment posted I will be donating .25 to a cat charity (not sure which but right now I am leaning towards the Santa Paws Drive). So be ready to comment on wednesday! I will get the post scheduled to go up at midnight that day so you have a nice long time!

Barney is doing good - as crazy as always - well maybe a bit more so. He is a bit bitey again so I think we need to go back to the squirt bottle for a while. He is only 6 months old so I am not really surprised. Virgil was like that too. He is up to 8 lbs now, but still just looks like a big kitten. Virgil looked like a small cat at that age, so maybe this means Barney will keep his kitten looks.

The others are doing good too - we got them some raw food to try but so far they aren't fans. Three of them were into it the first time but didn't eat it all, but Virgil has absolutely now interest in it. I am giving them the canned food too so they won't starve. I will keep trying the raw - maybe they just need to get used to it.

So I will have some pictures to post later - I haven't gotten my new new computer yet (the other is just not working correctly) so it is still tougher to do stuff. But I did get a cute picture that sort of turned out on my phone of Barney and Lola snuggling - super cute except they were laying on me and I could only use the phone - you can't see Lola 100% in the one that turned out but it is still ok.

Oh, and I decided that in order to catch up on visits I am only going to comment on everyone's most recent post - but I am reading the older stuff too. I just don't have the time to comment on them all because I will just get behind again.

Glad you are back! I know who hard the decision is on the banner. WE still have Wizard up even though it will be a year on the 25th.

It's just a thought but maybe yoo could do a header that included a photo of Floyd wearing his Angel's wings ~ with maybe a rainbow over him (symbolic of him being at the bridge). You might need to use photoshop or the like or get someone to help who knows how to use it.
That way we could still see Floyd everytime we visit which would be nice.

Barney is just so adorable. We love it that he is still rowdy and kittenish (a bit like Alfie Marshall who has never growed up).

I think if you choose to leave Floyd up on the banner it would be a wonderful little tribute. If you do change it maybe you could leave like one floyd and put up another kitty too.

We found out just how wonderful the blog community really is when our Cal left for the bridge in March. The kitties and their humans are just so caring and really help when you are feeling sad.

We think your birthday commentathon is a wonderful idea and we vote for SantaPawsDrive.

Oh, we didn't see our name on your blog list, forgive us if we overlooked it.
