UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Vet Update

So we had our vet trip on Saturday morning - and it started off wonderfully. Got both of them in the carriers, and as we were leaving (a bit late) Lola peed in the carrier. Luckily I know this is one of her tactics when she is mad so I had a thick towel in there. But there was no time to change it so I ran back into the house, grabbed a pile of towels that were sitting to be washed and put the carrier on one and had the others to switch out at the vet. I am really glad Floyd doesn't do that kind of thing. So we got there and I switched the towels - it wasn't too bad - didn't get into the bottom of the carrier at all. Lola was stressed so I put her up with Floyd and she snuggled right up to him. He has always been her protector. She got weighed and checked out - she purrs when nervous and wouldn't stop so it was hard for the vet to check her but she is doing good. Could stand to loose some weight (she is over 14 lbs) but otherwise ok.

Floyd got weighed and he is 16 lbs - which is good because I thought he might have lost weight. He may have gained and lost a little but he is still up so that is great. He had his blood test which should be back later today, and then he was all set to go. He is doing well and back on the amoxicillin (he was off a week because we were out, but it is good to be off once in a while).

When we got home the cats were fascinated with the carriers - Barney and Virgil play in them and Barney has been napping in them all weekend.

We had our big dinner yesterday and I tried to get a new bowl shot of Barney - but he wouldn't stay in it. I think it is because he is so much bigger now. I will try to post those later today. I didn't get much done the rest of the weekend - I was very tired so I either was napping or cooking. I didn't even get my laundry done. I should have Floyd's results by the time I am posting pics later and will update then. Also I will have put up the new header I got from Ann and Zoolatry by then - she made me some October ones which is very cool of her!
