Floyd seemed to feel better last night later on - but we did notice something odd. He seems to be grinding his teeth (at least that is how it sounds to me). I heard it while I was feeding him but thought it was him chomping on the syringe - but last night he did it after barfing. I think it sounds like tooth grinding (he chews when he does it) and Brad thinks it sounds like strange burping (but I think he is wrong). He is still getting food by syringe, and he doesn't protest too much. I am keeping an eye on him and will move his specialist appointment up if need be but this morning he was himself pretty much (other than the not eating thing).
I have tried baby food and he likes it sometimes but hates it others - so I am going to try again when I get home. Hopefully that will interest him. If not I will probably try to give him some via syringe so he gets some more calories. He seems to like the idea of food but when he has it doesn't want to eat it. But when I feed him he is ok with it. It is really stressful but he isn't complaining much (except when he gets his pill). So hopefully I will have some good news (and pics) later tonight!

maybe he's got a bad tooth? Kirby makes a grunting or burping sound. We are not sure what it is other than cute.
Hi Amy,
I'll continue to keep you, Brad and Floyd in my prayers. I know how trying this is. My daughter has a sickly Cornish Rex...after many vet visits it was determined he had inflamatory bowel disorder.
They are currently feeding him some type of food that is all duck and he tolerates it quite well.
Her first Rex had mega colon which was pretty miserable too. Many trips to the vet to unclogged the intestines.

Make sure you feed Floyd baby food without any onions in it. We hope he starts eating soon.
Maybe my threats are working!
