UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Since it has been quite a long time since we have been active, we are going to be Under Construction for a while - trying new fonts, designs, and updating our sidebar stuff. Hopefully we will get it how we like it soon so it won't change too much!

Also - Can someone tell me how to get rid of the giant gap below this notice - I cannot figure out how to do it - thanks!!

Quick Update

Well, as you can tell, with the no post weekend, I still am down one computer. It works for brief periods of time then either locks up or shuts down - what fun!

The cats don't seem to mind (except Barney who loved to bother me while I was on it). They are getting less pictures taken right now because I don't want to have to try and load them and move them to the back up. Barney is getting so big - his head is starting to catch up with his ear size, so I keep telling him to concentrate on growing them too. He is better since the hoo-ha-ectomy - a bit calmer. He is still prett bitey sometimes though - but he is young so I am sure he will grow out of it. Not too much is going on with any of the cats at the moment. Lola and Floyd will be at the vet this weekend, and then Virgil the next week. Floyd's is his regular blood test and the others are their annual check ups. So right now there isn't too much to report on - a lot of sleeping and eating is about all.

Oh, we did get them that toy The Bolt (I think that is the name) - it is the laser pointer that works on it's own for like 15 minutes - they love it and when it ends Barney tries to get up to turn it back on. It is great when I have to leave for work because it distracts them so they don't try to go out with me.

I also wanted to post that once I have my new computer I am going to get the etsy store up - and I have found that there is at least one style of cat jewelry that would be good for boy cats (it is chainmail not beaded so it is more manly). My biggest problem is trying to get my cats to try it on - they don't have collars and don't like necklaces so the pull it off (it has a break away clasp for safety). My other problem is judging how long stuff should be - I am using Virgil and Kirzon for reference because they are average sized. Floyd is huge and his fur covers stuff anyway, so he won't be a good model, but hopefully I can get the others interested. Once it is up I will have it in my sidebar. I am still hoping to have some samples tried out - I will have one soon and will post looking for a volunteer to try it once it is done - that was I can post the length (so it is a good size for you). I would like some feedback before putting any cat stuff in the actual store. If I can I will also try to have a boy's version for someone to try. It should hopefully be in the next couple of days.

Computer problems...grrrr! I had a few the other day after updating IE to version 8. Had to reload my email software to correct the problems. Good luck with the Etsy shop. Noll says he would be happy to be a model.

Hi Amy,
I was glad to read an update on your and your family. The bolt...sounds like quite a handy toy. I'll have to check into one of those.

I so sorry about your problems getting onto my blog. I wish I was a techie and could help you but I don't know what the problem could be.
For a while there were several blogs I went to that would also click off on me but that finally stopped. Hopefully this problem will solve itself.
