So this morning I was sitting on the couch eating breakfast like I always do, and Lola came to sit by me, which she does a lot. So Barney, who I think may be a bit intimidated by her (I know he is with Kirzon) because she hisses if he gets too close, didn't want to come up too. So instead he decided to sit on the other side of the couch near Floyd - and he laid there for a little while and was not bugging Floyd too much so Floyd stayed too! I couldn't believe it. He played with Floyd's tail a couple times but Floyd didn't get mad at him, and then he just rested (until he heard Virgil making a ruckus in the kitchen). Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a picture (because I had to finish breakfast and get ready for work). Hopefully they will do it again at a better time so I can get pictures!
I am hoping to have my new computer by next week and finally post some new pictures - Barney has gotten so big! And keep your fingers crossed that he sits by Floyd again (or any of the other older cats - it is rare).

I'm sure that over time all the cats will be at ease with one another. They may not play together but will tolerate each other. In our gang of 5, only some play together and alliances go through phases as the cats get older. For example: before Virg and West were best buddies, now it's Nico and West. Nico and Maggie used to be arch enemies, but now Maggie tolerates him the best than any of the others.
This is the first time I've had more than one cat at a time, so it's a treat to watch all the changes.

We TOTALLY understand about the 'puter AND camera issues!!! We hate it!!! Looking forward to opefully seeing them sitting together!!!

I can't wait to see how big Barney is. Our babies grow so fast! When you get your new computer I bet it will feel like Christmas for you. :)

Mom says she knows these situations where she would love to have the camera near. It's hard not to try to reach it, but that would most likely ruin the situation.

It must be really difficult not to have your home computer. You could still take pictures though and post them later on. You don't want to miss any good photo ops!
