Well, the computer is still down - and now getting on my nerves. It is angry because I haven't run Live OneCare in 5 weeks (the anti-virus/cleanup/etc.) Well, the reason is that the computer craps out before it can complete!! So I tried again last night, it got a bit done. I think it picks up where it left off so I may try it again tonight.
So other news is that I am going to start and Etsy store and sell jewelry - mostly for humans but also for kitties. I am thinking I should send one to Daisy or Reese when I get one done, and before posting, to see what they think, since they are both excellent modelcats (and girls). They would be kitty "necklaces" so I don't think boys would be too into it - although some (mine) may have to model them. Daisy or Reese - if you read this post please let me know if you would be interested in being a test model - my email is in the profile.
As far as our kitties, Barney was free last night. It was interesting because he still slept by me most of the time. And I didn't notice Virgil pounding at all, so I think that it was him being locked out that caused it. A few of you have asked if there have been any cat pee issues, either while he was gone or now he is back, and other than a couple of angry pees, that were resolved quickly (and took place on their beds, not the floor), things are ok. I asked them to do me the favor of peeing on the laundryroom floor if they really felt the need to, not to pee on the good floor, and they haven't peed on the floor since.
Barney's behavior seems a bit better - he is less bitey (but is still pretty bitey in my opinion) but not as bad as before. He also seems a bit less humpy. He is more squirmy, like squirming and being really cute, but other than that he is pretty normal. He is on regular cat food now - they said to transition slowly but he was already stealing the cat food anyway so it was pretty easy.
Lola is in an upstairs phase (she switches so sometimes she wants to sleep upstairs, sometimes downstairs) and last night she was on the bed when I got there. Funny thing is, Barney laid really close to her (he loves the blanket she was on, probably because it is the one I use at night) and she didn't even mind. Usually if a kitty is by her she gets very crabilated. Last night I also fixed one of their toys, so they were very happy. It is one of those automatic things that sits on the floor and has like an arm that moves around. They were very happy.
Anyway, since the computer is dumb, I decided to go through the blog and pick out a picture that I really like of each kitty - there were a lot I loved but decided on these. Here they are, from oldest to youngest:
