So, it has been a strange couple of weeks. First I was sick, then I had problems with a girl at work (who is on vacation this week - yay!!) and then this week I have had headaches because of allergies/weather, so I haven't posted too much. So there are a few things to update on.
Floyd is doing good, and doesn't have to go back to the Vet until the 26th. He is much less beggy than he was before, and he looks and feels like his old self. Kirzon is just his normal self, still doesn't like Virgil, but has had a couple times where he didn't growl. Lola has been more feisty, because we have this toy, The Bird (I am sure most of you know it - the feathers on the end of a string attached to a stick thing) and she likes it. We actually have 2 of the long feather ends on it at the moment and she thinks that is great. And Virgil loves it. His eye has been getting goopy, he probably has allergies like Lola, although hers aren't a problem this year. I still have some of the medicine from when he had issues last year, and it is still within code and was stored well so I am trying that. He is not as tolerant as Lola to have it done so I have to sneak up on him.
One of the more exciting things to happen is that we finally got a boogie mat for the kitties. They like it and usually sleep on it, which is pretty funny. Virgil has been known to attack it, scrunch it up and sleep on it. The others just keep it flat. I am going to try to get some pictures when I get home.
So, on a totally unrelated note, I have to ask my blog friends in the US, and especially the Illinois area - what is the deal with Plums? I have been looking for at least 2 months for plums at the supermarket (and when I say supermarket I mean multiple markets, owned by different companies) and none have had any. Did I miss out on some news story that plums just don't exist anymore? Is anyone else having this problem?
Anyway, I will have some pictures later, and I am hoping to get some video of Virgil playing with the bird - you would not believe some of the jumps he makes!

The plums may be like peaches in Texas. We has a very warm February and all the fruit trees bloomed out. Then we had bad freezes in March. That resulted in 75% loss of the crops!
Glad all the kitties are all doing well.
We have a boogie mat between the keyboard and computer and it's our favourite place to nap!
